Goodness gracious – the 1st
quarter of the year is over!!! For some of us it may feel as though we have already had a roller coaster of a ride in the past three months…….
The month of March always marks the time when we at Child Welfare Germiston have to end of our financial year and determine whether it has been a good, a great or an exceptional financial year….. However, if we have to be honest…. good …… great…… and exceptional are not only measured by financial results, there is so much more to be considered.
Reflecting not only the month of March but also the past financial year, we have to acknowledge all the different achievements, successes and opportunities that presented themselves throughout the year, which ultimately created what we could consider a GREAT year!!!!!
One of these moments in the month of March, was a special visit and donation from NGK Spark Plugs SA ….. Mitchell Wade and his team visited us our offices to handover a donation of pre-packed food parcels in support of our nutritional aid program along with pre-loved goods and clothing, collected by their staff towards our clothing program.
NGK Spark Plugs SA made a donation towards purchasing almost 100 food parcels to be distributed, as needed, to our families in crisis. Our nutritional aid program includes pre-packed parcels, provided by Snippets Hampers which are then delivered to us for distribution as and when needed.
Thank you NGK Spark Plugs SA for this amazing support and your commitment towards the children and families in our community. Your support makes a huge difference in the lives of our children and the work that we do……
