ONLINE OPERATIONS WILL CONTINUE THROUGH FALL 2020

USING ZOOM

The Center for Academic Success (CfAS) will continue to run via online operations through the Fall 2020 term. Please read below for instructions on scheduling an online tutoring session.

With ZOOM, tutoring sessions are private and one on one. ZOOM offers the ability for tutors to share their screen, give presentations, and share images and files. Sessions can be recorded and played back at any time.

Booking an appointment for remote tutoring lets you learn from the comfort of your home.

SCHEDULING TUTORING APPOINTMENTS NOW AVAILABLE THROUGH PSN

You can now schedule tutoring appointments via the Panther Success Network (PSN.)

Login here: https://go.fiu.edu/psn
Select "Schedule an Appointment"
For the type of appointment, select "Tutoring-Center for Academic Success"
On the day of your session, go to https://fiu.zoom.us/
Sign in with your FIU student credentials
Select “Join A Meeting”
Enter Meeting ID or Personal Link ID

ACADEMIC SUCCESS PLANS

SETTING STUDENTS UP FOR SUCCESS

Academic Success Plans (ASPs) exist for students who are interested in improving their academic performance in one or more areas. CfAS and collaborating departments have come together to create a holistic program for students who have concerns with balancing their academic performance with their life responsibilities. Each program is individual to the student, which is how small learning communities can be created at such a large institution like FIU.
