Dear Students,
As the academic year is progressing, you are spending more and more time at the LSMU library and Information Centre, therefore it is time to kindly remind you about the work ethic whilst there.
LSMU Library – is one of the most modern in Lithuania. The building – is exceptional, conditions to focus on your studies and do it well – excellent.
It’s important to remember, that certain public behaviour and work ethic rules apply at the library – it is unacceptable to speak loudly, eat or move furniture here.
You must follow these rules or you will lose the right to visit the LSMU Library.
Notices in the library spaces and on the tables as well as the members of staff who maintain the order at the library constantly remind all visitors to follow these rules.
On working days from 8 AM to 4 PM, a café is open at the library, in the foyer there is coffee and snack dispenser. However, eating in the reading rooms, leaving food packaging there – is not allowed.
Community spirit – is one of the essential values at LSMU, thus we kindly invite the LSMU students to follow the rules of public behaviour and library work ethic at all times.
Please, do not forget, that next to You, your colleagues, and lecturers, are studying and working. Only in a clean and tidy library environment it is possible to share your knowledge and research experiences.
At the LSMU library it is forbidden to:
- Disturb other visitors’ work, be noisy, use mobile phones;
- Eat and leave rubbish;
- Carry anatomy models to other floors;
- Move or carry furniture to other places, move chairs to other rooms.
