Chief executive sought for LymeForward
LymeForward is in the process of recruiting a chief executive officer to lead the organisation.
The aim of the appointment is to have someone who is a strong, passionate and experienced leader, who will engage with community groups, as well as social and healthcare organisations to identify local needs and deliver services that can make a difference to people’s lives.
As a Community Interest Company (CIC), LymeForward acts as the Local Area Partnership for Lyme Regis and Charmouth.
Its activities are currently primarily focused on health and wellbeing; employment for coastal communities; providing essential support services, such as the Foodbank, and the expansion of digital online services.
Having operated successfully for four years, it is now seeking to consolidate and expand its work in order to achieve its vision of being the benchmark model for small town community cohesion and support, which is why the time is right to appoint a CEO to lead LymeForward to the next stage of its development.
The postholder will have no shortage of interesting work to do and will be the public face of LymeForward.
To fill the permanent, part time role, the CIC is looking for an excellent communicator and effective champion for the local community, who can provide clear and inspirational leadership to enable LymeForward to achieve its vision, mission and strategy along with income generation.
Adverts have been placed in various publications, with an application deadline date of Monday, March 1, 2021, and interviews taking place during week commencing Monday, March 15, 2021.
