Hello Reader!

Can you believe Christmas is just three weeks away? One thing I love about the holidays is that I can share my love of reading and all things book-related through gift giving. Matching a person to a book is a thrilling experience. "You HAVE to read this book" is one of my favorite phrases because it brings me pleasure to know that a book I suggest has the power to inspire and delight. Read on for more on the presents I'm giving this year, plus some tips for gifting ebooks.

Gift Ideas for Readers
My 2019 Go-To Book

If I know you, you're getting this book! It's an intriguing story and beautifully written.

I'd Rather Be Reading

This book was a no-brainer for my stepmother who is in three book clubs!

Reader's Pillow

Lean your book on this lap pillow for hands-free reading. Got this for my mother-in-law.

A Classic for Kids

My 9-year-old niece will love this novel (and the $20 bill I tucked inside at the end of the book!)

Book Lights

This is the best way to read all through the night without disturbing your bed companion. Merry Christmas to me.

Postcards as Bookmarks

I use pretty postcards as bookmarks and place them in the books I give to others.

Audio Books

If you listen to a book, does that count as reading? Who cares! A subscription to Audible is a great gift for the multi-tasking reader.

Giving eBooks as Gifts

Many people are reluctant to make a gift of ebooks. It's only natural to want to wrap something and put it under the tree. However, ebooks are generally less expensive than physical books, which is great for the budget conscious. Plus, ebooks are easy to exchange. These days, most online booksellers make it easy to purchase and send ebooks as gifts. And if you still want to put something under the tree, click here for creative ways to "wrap" an ebook.

I hope you've found some useful ideas here. Shoot me an email back or connect with me on social media. I love the feedback I receive from readers!

Now, to what's on my nightstand and Kindle. I'm reading the indie book Guarded Wish by Addison Carmichael. What would you do if your make-believe boyfriend gave you a cupcake on your eighteenth birthday? I can't wait to find out! This time of year I also tend to re-read some of my favorite Christmas stories

I wish you and yours the happiest of holidays filled with stories that inspire and delight you!

Kindly,

Amy
