St. Patrick is venerated as the patron saint of Ireland because he
is credited with being the first bishop and the founder of Christianity
in Ireland. The Irish American Cultural Society of Stamford (IACSOS) is
credited with bringing the Stamford St. Patrick’s Day Grand Marshal’s
Dinner and Parade to Stamford and the surrounding communities every
year.
The IACSOS is a volunteer-driven 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
We receive no city, state, or federal funds. We are solely run with
donations from the private sector. We rely on the generosity of people
like you to bring the Dinner and Parade to our community!
